CONTENUR published its Sustainability Report 2023 in May of this year. This document is the Annual Report that the company has created to make its progress known and to bring together in one single document, its performance in non-financial matters.
The Report is for 2023 and highlights the achievements made by the company and its commitment to sustainability.
“Where environmental matters are concerned, it must be made known that in 2023 there was an increase in the number of CIRCLE® operations and, as a consequence, an increase in the consumption of recovered “end-of-life” materials (coming from used containers that had reached the end of their working life). Furthermore, we managed to achieve a major reduction in both our emissions and our energy consumption at all the Plants”, stressed Iñigo Querejeta, CONTENUR’s CEO.
The overall balance in the economic area is very positive. The billing was well above the figure for 2022, record financial results being obtained.
In the social area, apart from guaranteeing a secure work environment and a quality employment situation that is also stable, greater initiatives have been undertaken to improve recruitment and to develop internal talent, encourage equality and increase diversity.
